By accessing and using QREngine ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

QREngine provides a free QR code generator and barcode generation service. Our service allows users to create, customize, and download QR codes and barcodes for personal and commercial use. We also provide API access for developers to integrate QR code generation into their applications.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate QR codes for illegal purposes
  • Create content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware or phishing content
  • Abuse the API rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. API Usage

API access is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. Free tier users are limited to 100 API calls per day. Exceeding these limits may result in temporary suspension of API access.

6. Intellectual Property

The QR codes and barcodes you generate using our Service are yours to use. However, the QREngine platform, including its design, code, and branding, remains the intellectual property of QREngine.

7. Limitation of Liability

QREngine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service. We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
